BodyLapse ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our iOS application.

Information We Collect

1. Photos and Visual Data

• Daily Progress Photos: Photos you take are stored locally on your device in the app's private Documents directory
• Body Detection Data: We process body contours and poses using Apple's Vision framework for guideline overlay features
• Face Detection: Used only for optional face blur functionality, processed entirely on-device

2. Health and Fitness Data

• Weight Measurements: Manually entered or synced from Apple Health (with your permission)
• Body Fat Percentage: Manually entered or synced from Apple Health (with your permission)
• Fitness Goals: Target weight and body fat percentage you set during onboarding

3. App Usage Data

• Settings Preferences: Notification times, weight units, guideline visibility
• Premium Subscription Status: Whether you have an active premium subscription
• Authentication Settings: Your preference for Face ID/Touch ID or passcode protection

How We Use Your Information

All data processing happens locally on your device. We use your information to:

1. Core Functionality

• Display your photos in calendar and gallery views
• Generate time-lapse videos of your progress
• Show weight/body fat tracking charts (Premium feature)
• Provide before/after photo comparisons

2. Enhanced Features

• Apply face blur for privacy protection
• Maintain consistent photo positioning with body guidelines
• Send daily reminder notifications (if enabled)
• Secure app access with biometric or passcode authentication

Data Storage and Security

Local Storage Only

• Photos: Stored in app's private Documents/Photos directory
• Metadata: Photo information saved in local JSON files
• Settings: Stored in iOS UserDefaults
• Authentication: Passwords stored in iOS Keychain

Security Measures

• All data remains on your device unless you explicitly share it
• App data is protected by iOS sandbox security
• Optional Face ID/Touch ID or passcode protection
• Photos can be blurred to protect facial privacy

Third-Party Services

1. Google AdMob (Free Version Only)

• Displays banner and interstitial advertisements
• May collect device identifiers for ad personalization
• Subject to Google's Privacy Policy

2. Apple Services

• HealthKit: For weight/body fat data sync (requires explicit permission)
• StoreKit: For premium subscription management
• Local Authentication: For Face ID/Touch ID functionality

Data Sharing

We do NOT:

• Upload your photos to any server
• Share your personal data with third parties
• Access your photos without your action
• Store any data outside your device

You CAN:

• Export and share time-lapse videos
• Share comparison photos
• Delete all app data by uninstalling the app

Face Data Collection and Usage

BodyLapse uses face detection technology exclusively for privacy protection purposes. Here's detailed information about our face data practices:

Face Data We Process

• Face Detection for Blur: We use Apple's Vision framework (VNDetectFaceRectanglesRequest) to detect face locations in photos
• Processing Duration: Face rectangles are detected and immediately used for blurring, then discarded within milliseconds
• Data Stored: Only a boolean flag indicating whether face blur was applied to each photo
• Face ID/Touch ID: Used only for app authentication via iOS LocalAuthentication (no face data collected by the app)

Face Data We Do NOT Collect

• Facial features, characteristics, or biometric templates
• Face identification or recognition data
• Persistent storage of face coordinates or measurements
• Any face data that could identify individuals

Purpose and Usage

• Single Purpose: Face detection is used exclusively to apply privacy blur to faces in photos
• User Control: Face blur is entirely optional and controlled by user preference
• On-Device Only: All face detection and processing happens locally on your device
• No Analysis: We do not analyze, profile, or identify faces

Data Sharing and Retention

• No Sharing: Face data never leaves your device and is never shared with third parties
• Temporary Processing: Face rectangles exist only during blur processing (milliseconds)
• Metadata Retention: The blur flag is retained as long as the associated photo exists
• User Deletion: When you delete a photo, all associated data including the blur flag is permanently deleted

Your Rights and Choices

1. Photo Management: Delete any photo directly from the app
2. Data Export: Save your videos and photos to your photo library
3. Notifications: Enable/disable in Settings
4. Health Data: Control access through iOS Settings > Privacy > Health
5. Ad Personalization: Manage through iOS Settings > Privacy > Advertising
6. Face Blur Control: Enable/disable face blur feature at any time in camera settings

Children's Privacy

BodyLapse is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected in the app and on our website with the "Last Updated" date.

顔データの収集と使用

処理する顔データ

目的と使用方法

• 単一目的：顔検出は写真の顔にプライバシーぼかしを適用する目的でのみ使用
• ユーザー制御：顔ぼかしは完全にオプションで、ユーザーの設定により制御
• 端末内処理のみ：すべての顔検出と処理はお使いの端末上でローカルに実行
• 分析なし：顔の分析、プロファイリング、識別は行いません

データ共有と保持期間

• 共有なし：顔データは端末から送信されず、第三者と共有されることはありません
• 一時的な処理：顔の矩形はぼかし処理中のみ存在（ミリ秒単位）
• メタデータの保持：ぼかしフラグは関連する写真が存在する限り保持
• ユーザーによる削除：写真を削除すると、ぼかしフラグを含むすべての関連データが完全に削除

お客様の権利と選択

1. 写真管理：アプリから直接写真を削除
2. データエクスポート：動画と写真をフォトライブラリに保存
3. 通知：設定で有効/無効を切り替え
4. ヘルスデータ：iOS設定 > プライバシー > ヘルスケアでアクセスを制御
5. 広告のパーソナライズ：iOS設定 > プライバシー > 広告で管理
6. 顔ぼかし制御：カメラ設定でいつでも顔ぼかし機能を有効/無効に切り替え

子供のプライバシー

BodyLapseは13歳未満の子供を対象としていません。13歳未満の子供から故意に情報を収集することはありません。
